About EESS Conformity Certification
Conformity Certification Services Pty Ltd
The Company, Conformity Certification Services Pty Ltd, was established to provide certification services under an ambit of certification programs and schemes.
To achieve this, Conformity Certification Services is operated by a team of experienced and dedicated specialists.
EESS Conformity Certification
EESS Conformity Certification is the business trading under Conformity Certification Services Pty Ltd that delivers Safety Certification for Electrical Equipment locally manufactured or imported into Australia and New Zealand.
EESS Conformity Certification can issue a Certificate of Conformity and Approval for Level 3 Equipment (Declared Articles) under the Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) and upload your certificate details to the National Certification Database.
Under the new Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) the Certificate of Conformity replaces the Certificate of Approval.
EESS Conformity Certification may also issue a Certificate of Suitability for Level 1 and 2 Equipment (Non-declared Articles) under the new Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) and we upload the details of the issued certificates to the National Certification Database.
Under the Mutual Recognition Agreement and the Trans-Tasman Mutual Agreement, certification by EESS Conformity Certification is recognised by all States and Territories of Australia and New Zealand.
Regulation 83 of the New Zealand Electricity Safety Regulations was updated in December 2013 – medium and high risk articles registered under the new EESS are deemed to have WorkSafe’s approval and a New Zealand manufacturer or importer who is a registered EESS supplier will no longer have to complete a SDoC for such articles.
